DARK SKY PARADISE
-Massive improvement in Seans career
-Spawned two amazing singles (IDFWU and Blessings)
-Sean made an album with a dark sound and did the whole thing really well. Had several 10/10 verse throughout.
-Amazing production
-No one else has had this much chemistry in a joint album since WTT
-Most underrated project of 2016
-Not one bad song
-Jhene is a goddess
-This album has such an amazing vibe to it. Not one bad song
-Seans most mature project by far, shows how much he's progressed
-He strung across an uplifting and motivational concept and was well done
-Bounce Back the best single of the year
-Again, Sean doesn't have a single bad verse on here. Only bad verse was the Eminem feature
-Stellar production
-Sean with the best flows in the game
Seans run from 2015-2017 is flawless. Only Futures streak in 2015 can compare. I've really come around to Big Sean's greatness lately, he's got so much to offer and his rap abilities are monstrous. With the way his output is going, he may surpass Cole or Future
Edit:
Detroit 2
-A return back to form showing what he can do
-Incredible depth and production on every track
-Seamless chemistry between the featured artists and Sean
-Lithuania and Friday Night Cypher are some of the most memorable tracks this decade
I don't feel like going back to those albums for this debate. I'll let someone else handle this.
Tyler dropped a Cherry Bomb then Flower Boy then IGOR
incredible run
Igor has no replay value, Flower Boy some mid, and Cherry bomb is outdated.

No one plays these Big Sean albums anymore

I Decided and DSP are still in heavy rotation in the wider hip hop stratosphere

I don’t think so
People who hate on Sean are the same ones who think xxl freshman are the best out rn 😂😂
DSP and I Decided are both great albums, but Twenty88 might be a bit of a stretch. I'll have to relisten to it though, since I haven't revisited it since it dropped
I've never listened to larry june outside of smoothies in 1991 what you recommend to start off with?
