    In the first draft of Death Becomes Her, Martin Donovan and David Koepp used famous lines from other movies as placeholders.

    While reading the script, I only figured out 3/4 of them.

    Nice nice that’s dope. I forgot which author I read it from that said before they start a book or screenplay (?) they’ll first re-type a novel/screenplay they love and are inspired by.

    The theory is, how can you know how to write a great piece of work if you’ve never written one before?

    And I guess to absorb that energy too and let the inspiration shine through.
