Autumn - the first of 4 records Nao will be releasing as part of her Soulful Suite project - is about finding your way back to yourself. It's a record about accepting the seasons of a life - things ending, changing, even falling apart at times - while refusing to believe that with the passing of time you have to feel less alive. Through love, rest, pleasure, spirituality, music and self-belief, Nao discovers that renewal doesn't mean returning to who you were, it means allowing yourself to become who you are next and finding joy in that.

Spun the album on a drive last night. Great stuff. Cohesive and quick 30 minute play that's rich enough to make you wanna play it back as soon as it ends. All of the instrumentation and the band just getting to rock out for minutes at a time felt like the whip was a jazz club. Nao's right at home over the production. Glad to see when an artist goes back to indie and it feels like their best work could still be ahead of them.

My favorite tracks were back to back, Save The World into Living Room.
