Yeah the thing people do to diss ovo acting like every ovo artist would be a Weeknd level if not on ovo is just dumb
I actually thought about doing a write up or maybe a video on this. Personally I call it the “OVO Effect”
Drake is so massive that he sucks up all the artists attached to him to where they are seen as extensions of him BUT the biggest thing is that because of this people are far less critical of anything that artist puts out like nobody is raving about Majid Jordan, their last project BARELY got reviewed, even P4K dragged their feet and took like months to review iirc.
But people will act like they’re dropping 10/10 flawless music and the only reason they aren’t big is because OVO/Drake not promoting them harder. Most of the critics don’t understand the nuance of how a label/promo even works.

I have only listened to these songs a couple of times but they didnt blow me away, if I am being totally honest.
I dont know but they just werent that interesting to listening to. Felt a bit hollow and I am not rushing to go back to listen to them.

I just didnt feel anything from listening to these. Like there was no emotion. Just emptiness or numbness. It did not move me at all and I like similar type of artists and music as well.
Just thought it wasnt very good, unfortunately. If other people like it thats what up, because I think she seems like a dope person outside of everything else.
