I remember that. That happened before CLB dropped and CLB dropped 16 months ago. She isn't signed to OVO Sound. It's just that simple.
The crew being cool with her doesn't mean she's signed or will ever get signed.

This. It really isn't complicated. I remember the time when Jhené Aiko was mad close to everyone on TDE. This was before they signed SZA. She was making songs with everyone on the label and they were also appearing on her projects but it was just that — showing love and being cool with one another. She never got signed.

It’s more than that. She’s working with all people ovo from the business and music / producer side.
As far as I know, she still doesn't have a song produced by anyone from the OVO camp. And her having recording sessions at 40's studio isn't the big deal you think it is. Dozens of artists work in 40's studio.

I agree at she isn't signed. that much is clear from distribution and label info.

I couldn't open any of the pre-save links without signing in. That's why i didn't check those. But if i'm not wrong, aren't those songs you linked above old, and not the ones dropping in 2023. Plus, I'd agree with you on everything you said, but then what would be the explanation for her having multiple songs in this OVO Sound's YouTube Playlist that features only the Label's Artists, or features by them. And Plus, the songs by her in the playlist had no OVO Artist attached to them, just her, & only her.
