People really tryna go at Nas for this though...

"We goin' ultra black, unapologetically black
    The opposite of Doja Cat"

What is wrong with any of this? Was Doja Cat not in racial chats showing feet to all the Wesleys and racist losers? Does Doja Cat not have identity issues stemming from her father not being in her life and being raised by her very white step father and mom, which led to her hating black men, and potentially her own race? Did she not make a song called Dindu Nuffin which is a term used by racists on 4Chan used to mock black people getting killed by police?

It can be "all love" but there's still nothing wrong with what Nas said. And every self-respecting black person should be the opposite of her.

Sounds like she has identity issues and needs to be embraced and not villainized.

She has come out and said very plainly that Dindu Nuffin was an attempt to flip that phrase that she discovered on 4chan, read the lyrics and it’s pretty obvious. Nas has done similar things in the past. It was a weird diss because she hasn’t even done outlandish s*** besides date white dudes and sit in chat rooms. She grew up on the internet, she weird. But she is still a black woman. To outcast her is the opposite of what king figures like nas should be doing for clicks and hype. embrace that girl, show her the beautiful blackness inside herself, that’s how we move forward

He knows this, which is why we getting this apology

Bro. She 25. If she STILL having identity issues at her big age, she probably never had any sort of interest in learning more about herself at any point in her 20s especially with all the crazy s*** that's been going on throughout the 2010s

    This.

Idk why folks acting as if him saying there's no real drama/issue between them is him backtracking. He just made a play on words that jabbed at her situation.

    Wasn't no Ether pt 2 s***.

Yea but is that her fault? Or the fault of the environment she grew up in? You can’t expect people to be super proud Black people if they aren’t taught to be proud.

Yeeaah I've never been able to relate to this line of thinking. Me growing up around white people just pushed me closer towards my blackness. I never had to "Learn how to be proud of being black".

  • Anyway f*** Doja Cac.

If Black kids turning to d*** dealing and violence isn’t entirely their fault but the fault of generations of being in a f***ed up environment why can’t the same apply to Black kids who grow up in a different environment?

I will say though I get what you mean cuz growing up around White people and learning about the civil rights era and things like that it’s difficult to avid the personal feelings. This played a huge role in my pride of my melanin.

My point is though I don’t think we can blame Doja Cat for not being a proud Black woman. Not every lightskin kid raised by 2 White parents ends up like Kap you know?

Is it Oochie Wally Wally or is it One Mic?

This line don’t hit the same when you realize you can do the same thing for Hov or any artist really. Is it I Know What Girls Like or is it Lucky Me? How dare Nas be a multi dimensional human
