I felt like a lot of hitboy beats felt flat but i now realize that Nas likes it that way

Really any time in the 90’s - 2005 would have worked perfectly. This feels like a 25 years late

Premier just fell out of touch and didn't evolve like some of the other goat producers did.

In 2025 I would've preferred a Nas/Madlib or Nas/Alchemist project or a Nas album full of producers like DJ Dahi, No I.D, Alchemist, Madlib, Conductor Williams, Pharrell, Havoc, etc.

What about Premo ?

feel like he really could have opened the vault and given him some of that dust. These beats just feel flat imo

Still a majority enjoyed Hit Boy production with Nas and most of the albums they did together. It was some of Nas best music since Life Is Good.

I blame this mostly on Premier. Nas ear for beats has improved over the years.
