They knocked it outta’ the park with The Mobb & De La albums.
i was suprised how de la soul album is good tbh
Yeah we need the Nas x Alc album now
Only NYC legend that Alan should focus on is Kool G Rap. It’s been a while since the last ALC x Nas
i wish primo give album old beats from 95 - 96 from vault , like buckwild did with celph tilted

Why? It’s been known for a while now that Premier not the same producer he once was

considering its Nas i thought Premo would've cooked up somethin special here...Premo's beats on the last Gangstarr album was solid.

was kinda hoping for that too
I like this album. It's dope to me. I wouldn't call it a classic, but it's enjoyable, and I can see myself going back to it here and there in the future. Premier's beats aren't what they were 20-30 years ago, but I think a lot of the hate here is due to very high expectations. The only exceptional albums in this series to my ears were Infinite and Cabin In The Sky. I really like both of those albums, especially the De La Soul joint. I can't stop listening to it. Premo's beats on that album worked really well, especially on EN EFF. Goddamn! I'd put Light Years as my third favorite in the Legend Has It series. For now at least, but I don't see that changing really. I couldn't get into the other titles too much. I didn't hate any but don't really see myself going back to them. Just kind of boring in my opinion. I'd also like to add that I didn't care for Premier's beats on the Marci project, but I thought he did some good work on the Ransom stuff. He obviously still has it in him.
Magic 1 was the most special project he's made in recent times for me. 9 songs all heat, Nas was sliding effortlessly all across those grimier sounding beats. Exactly what a Nas classic in the 2020s should sound like. Even the Rocky feature was perfect. I've burnt that s*** out.
Genuinely my personal favorite Nas album
This album is incredible
Idk how people are even hating on 3rd childhood
I will say 3rd Childhood is a standout i don't understand the criticism there

magic 1 is really good, wu for the children my fav on there
magic 2 has gems too, bookeem woodbine and what this all really means
magic 3 is cool but it kinda feels forced when he didn't have much left in the tank
Mobb Deep had the best Legend Has It album
Agree
I agree with those saying Magic 1 is still the best album in recent Nas disco. Ironically, Magic 2 is probably the worst (including KD).
Magic 1 is better than this Premier album for sure.
