This album is such a gift

Nas will always be cemented as one of the ones you can call the “God MC”: Hov, Nas, Rakim

And he’s a fixture in top 5s

If he happened to care about rankings and legacy though, some more work like this could really run the score up

I could see him dropping KD albums for years to come. It seems like he’s found a formula and spark with Hit-Boy he’s been looking for and he’s gonna run with it for as long as he can.

And you thought he needed features

And they all sound different

I will be absolutely in for that. I was wondering if they were gonna keep going or possibly take a breather after the “trilogy” but I hope they do just keep it going

that’s my problem with kings disease 1 & 2 i can’t get past the beats just being decent

He carried this way better than I thought he was capable of at this point tbh, I know he’s been doing great s*** but I underestimated him

The production and variety of content, sequencing and track lengths is amazing

This album flew by

Didn’t think he’d better magic but he did

I was vibing fine on reminisce, then the 2nd half came in with the beat change and I had to pause and start the song over again. holy s*** hitboy

I sometimes understand people being iffy on hit boy

But IMO his beats are perfect for Nas. It’s the right balance of old and new, it’s extremely hip hop and sets the tone for Nas and the beat switches are great

That was an interesting little switch up. Expected Nas to go longer on the second part but was cool

He’s rapping more like LIG on this one imo

definitely hear it. listening to im on fire right now and it sounds like it was taken right off LIG
