I want more funky s*** like Recession Proof and Once a Man, Twice a Child. Those beats were wild

Needed him to go on for another two minutes at least on the beat switch of Reminisce

Top 3 track at least
As much as I’ve enjoyed and appreciate how active Nas has been with these albums I really need his next one to be with someone other than hitboy!
I wouldn't be mad at that either.
If it were up to you, who would be the producer that you would want to fully produce Nas next album?

I'd like to see what Alchemist x Nas would pan out.

The way this already jumped straight to second best oty for me is mad. The era of old man rap is really thriving

NoID tbh, he did great on 4:44 and LIG and makes some nice grown man music, after that probably primo followed by madlib. I always used to say alchemist but I think that has a bit of a chance to be underwhelming.
But in all honesty I want Nas to be on some personal s*** in the next one, I know it may be rehashing things but I’d love some tracks about things like his mother, failed marriage, insecurities, ill Will etc.
If with primo then some street s*** and storytelling maybe in the vail of what jay tried on AG. Since he’s not in the streets maybe take in a character and take it back to the streets of NY
For madlib I’d love some more experimental s*** with some more underground type features

This era is like the 90s was for rock. The old guard came out of the 80s ready to get back to basics. Bob Dylan dropped Time Out of Mind, Neil Young Ragged Glory, Johnny Cash's American Recordings series, etc.
Find great people to elevate what you already do well and great things will happen.

Interesting connection. 80’s was when Rock became a dominant commercial genre right, much like Rap is now. Seems like a reaction, or just that lyrical old school rap is becoming an appreciative niche as a response to how the mainstream has melodically evolved
Tbf the lyricist lounge era of rappers was almost like a reaction to the Diddyfication of Rap, so we’ve seen it before

I do look back at the shiny suit era fondly
