KD2 = KD3
Magic
KD1
kd3 is probably more consistent all around but KD2 highlights are ridiculous
rare, death row east, nobody, epmd, no phony love, moments, the pressure
not mad at this take
depending on actual mood i could tend to lean eather kd3 / kd2 or even magic
It’s hard for me to compare the KDs and Magic with his other stuff still
Like I know the beats on these are better overall than most Nas albums after IWW
But still, I Am, Stillmatic, Lost Tapes, Gods Son is Nas at an untouchable level. As hard as he’s going now it would be difficult for me to say he’s rapping as good as he was on those projects
Also Untitled is up there for me, that and HHID are personal classics

nostalgia is holding u back to rate this higher . but i totally understood why

That’s a factor but it’s not just that. even taking rose colored glasses off, Nas flow was still probably just a little better then imo

KD3 > I Am & Gods Son
For me, it’s fighting Life Is Good for the #5 spot
Illmatic
IWW
The Lost Tapes
Stillmatic
KD3/Life Is Good
KD trilogy and Magic in 2 years? Thats actually ridiculous for someone who should be slowly retiring lmao

Exactly, lol
It's almost like Hit Boy breathed new life into Nas and gave him a new desire to want to reinvent himself again in this modern era.
I don't know man, maybe this is me being prisoner of the moment right now, but "King's Disease 3" is sounding like a modern classic album to me. Everything about it is just high quality, consistent and smooth from the first track to the last track.

Personally I always wanted Nas to rap on these kinda beats he’s getting from Hit-Boy and I never would’ve thought Nas would make such a comeback…so it’s gonna be weird throwing these up high but I’m thinking mine is

The other day I said Thug Motivation might be the best trilogy in Hip-Hop but the more I listen to KD3 the more I regret saying it. I strongly believe this will go down as the greatest trilogy in Hip-Hop history.
TM103 and 104 were nowhere near his first 2
Snofall on the other hand can bang with 101
I need to revisit Magic.
I was so caught up in KD2 that I kinda slept on it
I do remember loving Dedicated

I Am is Nas at top form? Really?
If you take out We Will Survive and Nas Is Like, it becomes easily his worst album (tied with Nasir)

In patches he defiantly is but as an album it’s massively inconsistent

kd2 so underrated on here

Even then, there’s barely any spots where I’d say he’s in rare form
Big Things, Money Is My B****, KISSING, Dr Knockboot etc have among the worst verses he’s ever written. Hell some might even argue Nas Is Like is carried by the beat

Massive f***ing W for mentioning No Phony Love. I’ve seen people call it the worst on there yet it’s one of the best rap love songs I’ve ever heard, still a S Tier Nas x Hit song
I stg some people are inclined to think that any song about romance is bad, same s*** happened with All Bad

His rapping on there is still top tier for me is what I meant specifically, and I have other all time favorites on that album
NY State Of Mind 2
Small World
Undying Love
With the 2 you mentioned those 5 joints are so classic and he’s still spitting on some other tracks I like Favor For A Favor with Scarface. Songs you mentioned and a couple others do carry it but still I hold it higher than most do
