Few months? It’s been almost a year since magic
I’m sure they had already started recording some of this stuff around magic sessions but I doubt it goes back further than that. I feel like they locked in right after KD2 and made so much along with leftovers that they felt they should drop Magic on em. But I’m sure the majority of this stuff is fresh

But they were competing for most of their careers and before KD it was official that Jay won the war, he was officially the king with zero debate
The KD series has made Nas a factor again
I’m mostly just bantering I’m not saying it’s that serious but I know that competition is still in them. Kd series puts more pressure on Hov’s next one. Which is why I think he’s just tryna lay low until this storm passes to avoid the comparison

Magic dropped last Christmas. On it Nas said KD3 was on the way, meaning he probably was working on KD3 already. From Magic to now is 11 months. I would say he was working on KD3 for more than "a few months".
