To this day not many rappers have as many all time classic smashes in the genre - mfs with dozens of albums. Add that on top of his undeniable skill, quotables and all time iconic voice/image? Ofc he’s still worthy of top 5 status (given you can only probably name <ten rappers who check all this off as well)

I'm a fan but I can recognize that he hasn't lived up to expectations or his potential at all He's never had a run, nigga hasn't even ever delivered two solid albums in a row.

Since 2017/2018 YB has been my most played rapper or top 3. Nas has never been in my 5-10 most played rappers for a given year.

Idk what your problem is Man. I never disrespected nas, I never hated on his music, or said he’s trash. Just that he’s not absolute personal favorite of mines.

I think 4YEO was solid. But I will agree that he could’ve accomplished more during his career.

He still should be in the conversation as one of the top 5-10 best rappers alive today but he’s an old head. It’s just rare to see an older head like Nas still sounding young and better than the most rappers today.

A lot of people respect Nas as a legend but he’s not that star artist anymore on folks radar like that so when people see his name alongside the younger generation of rappers as having one of the best projects of the year, there’s a pushback.

He’s putting out some of the best rap albums in recent years but some niggas just ain’t tryna hear Nas in that conversation anymore because he already had his time.

Don’t think it’s fair to put Biggie in the top 5 with only two albums
