Damn, so you didn't like the beats on Stillmatic or Life Is Good either?
The production on those albums were dope, in my opinion.
Stillmatic’s beats give me the cheap and budget feeling, didn’t seem special in hindsight. Life Is Good was almost ruined by the mediocre engineering 😬

Hit-boi really did a favor for Nas and tested down to the narrative his haters like to spout. On his final album I’d like to see him gather all the great producers (Like Just Blaze, Timbo, The Alchemist, Premier, etc.) and go out with a BANG 🔥

i feel like most of his albums have good production. even nasir had good production. it just didnt mesh with nas style

i think some people really enjoyed the more aggressive and raw approach on MAGIC
i prefer KD2 because of the lush production and laid back/grown man approach
