Nas homie died last night in queens. Killed
Rip Taheim
Just a few hours after hanging out with Nas, what the f***!

RIP
was talking to a queens dude who is older than nas and he liked KD1 better than KD2. still liked kd2 and he said every time he played it back he likes it more. I went back and played some kd1 and the main thing i noticed was it felt softer and more spacious....the beats in kd2 way more modern and cluttered (in a good way)

i love both, im replaying the tracks on kd2 more so far.
me thinking about both.... All bad & replace me compared to brunch on sundays, more celebratory feeling on kd2. that grammy win mightve aided in that feeling haaaaa.
even YKTV compared to Spicy it's more celebratory. when s*** gets spicy "if i cant get it done i got soliders to get it done" versus "hope them killers dont catch no bodies" on the same song as YG talking about greenlighting 69's music video. Death row east the war is already over, til the war is won there's still work to do.

Yeah for sure, "victory lap" feel all over KD2. Composure is a great example of that

Saw this earlier before I read the news. Hits different
I can see Nas getting another Grammy, no serious contenders so far
agree. The deadline is soon, who else is going to be nominated? Tyler, maybe kanye if he's on time....tryin to think of who else dropped fr. Not expecting drake to be on time. J cole has not submitted his projects since FHD. Migos may get a nomination. Megan will probably get a nomination for hers

Maybe Black Thought if his album can be nominated for the 2022 Grammys
Hope I'm not the only one who likes this more than IWW
Blasphemy
IWW is such a grower, I like it more as the years pass. Only time will tell how this one stands the test of time. Depending on how trap is looked back on a couple of they may age badly, or may age really well, guess we’ll have to wait and see! The lyrics are timeless as always with Nasir

I might have IWW above Illmatic these days tbh
More depth to it.. I Gave You Power, Black Girl Lost, If I Ruled the World showed some serious growth
