Not really sure what happened with volumes 8 or 9 for Nas tapes, seem to have fixed the issue so if anyone is having trouble let me know and will resend those two

Here's the artworks and a brief description of what to expect:

All albums around the 45 minute mark (aside from the freestyle tape)

Updated the Op with all 10 tapes. Its getting confusing with 3 threads so I consolidated to this thread. if you request links in this thread you will get all 10 tapes, the links will be in order..

for those who have already downloaded. I have made some trackless changes and cleaned a few things up and improved the sequencing, so would be a good idea to re-DL. when I made the thread they were a work in progress. they're finished now

The Lost Albums Vol. 0: The Demo Tape

This is my take on the demo tape that's been circulating for a while. The difference here is that I added a couple of tracks, resequenced the album, corrected some of the volumes and tried to make the transitions better between tracks by cutting dead space or fading out tracks that abruptly end. Of course the audio quality still isn’t ideal as you’d expect

The Lost Albums Vol. 1: Nastalgic

As the name would suggest there are some tracks on here that made me feel nostalgic, the tracks on here are all good quality and untagged, the transitions are clean and it has some of my personal favourite unrealised tracks

The Lost Albums Vol. 2: The Second Coming

This album generally contains more "street singles" than volume 1 with a couple more introspective tracks to finish, again all untagged and good audio quality

The Lost Albums Vol. 3: The Autobiography

As the name suggests this is an album of tracks from the I Am… The Autobiography double album era. It contains tracks not featured on I Am, Nastradamus or Lost tapes (With the exception of two bonus tracks which are original versions). The album has again been sequenced to play front to back as an album and could easily be used as a standalone second disk for I Am

The Lost Albums Vol. 4: The Proclamation

This is one of my favourites, its an album of tracks that should've made Untitled. Half the tracks have appeared on the Ni**er tape, but these are the No DJ tag versions. together with other tracks intended for the album. again its been sequenced to listen to front to back as an album

The Lost Albums Vol. 5: The General

This album cover picture was used on my original Confessions of Escobar" mixtape from 12 years ago. The tracklist is different. A mixture of soulful and street tracks with a couple of Firm Album Leftovers

The Lost Albums Vol. 6: Welcome To Queensbridge

nother album with more street type songs. Was planning on this being the last tape but then extended it with the firm tape then 2 tapes for his more modern stuff

The Lost Albums Vol. 7: Not For The Radio

This album contains the best of Nas' radio freestyles. Ive tried to keep the sound quality as consistent as possible and keep the transitions as clean as possible and again made an effort to sequence the album as I did will all 8 albums, this was probably the trickiest one from that aspect.

The Lost Albums Vol. 8: The Firm

This is the only tape where there is a slight crossover. Half the tracks appear on the other tapes and half don't, as the name indicates this is an album of largely Firm leftovers (or tracks recorded at the same time)

The Lost Albums Vol. 9: The Encore

This was meant to be the final chapter hence the name. This contains post 90's stuff and is more modern sounding. tried to put tracks where was really spits. I really FW this tape

The Lost Albums Vol. 10: Evolution of the Groove

I had about 40 leftover tracks. some poor quality, some tagged, some appeared on mainstream projects but I slimmed it down to 14 tracks and it actually works pretty well for a leftover tape. I edited a couple of tracks I didn't use because of tags and removed tags where possible (I also removed Swizz from echo and Khalid from Hip hop) not the best tape of the bunch but worth having imo

The Lost Albums Vol. 11: Murder the DJ

Link when you get a chance Please

  • I would say, vol 0 (Illmatic era), vol 3 (I Am era), vol 4 (untitled era) and vol 1 are all absolutely essential Nas and all play perfectly as albums (especially with the updates improving the volume levels)
