but most fans hated that he kept working with Salaam Remi. That's when his beat selection got criticized the most.
A lot of us was relieved to see Remi only produced a couple on Life Is Good and let No I.D. handle most of the production.
Hasn't really worked with him since,
In retrospect tho some of Salaam Remi beats sound better today.
Hit Boy's production is a good balance for Nas in today's era.

he is. he used to be great but now his stuff for nas is just boring. it always sounds way too polished which doesn't work with how raw nas sounds. tbh there's way better producers out there with that sound if nas is looking for it
