Jeezy dissed him first("Does Nas bust his guns"). Nas just responded to his diss.

He went on the radio and started screaming that Nas is irrelevant and washed lol

Also, not to hi-jack the thread, but two years later, Nas released an album literally entitled the N Word talking about social issues and race problems.

At the time, it was polarizing and many people saw it as a gimmick. Years later, you get albums like TPAB and Lemonade. Nas ahead of his time.

The album is cool outside of that song with weird D*** Tracey accent.

Yeah, this was a great album. I'm glad Nas had the balls to say what he said about Hip Hop at that time, because he was right. S*** was getting wack around that time period and he spoke the truth.

"Where Y'all At" was dope track. I wish it would've made the album but I know it had something to do with sample clearances not getting cleared on time.

I like the production of it but yea the accent just ruins it. Definitely the weakest song on the album.

Shake Dat Laffy Taffy being the song that made most people start declaring Hip-Hop dead is hilarious
