Only Nas x Hit-Boy album that wasn’t atleast good was Magic 2. Magic 1 is amazing and KD3 & 2 were both really good.

Glad Nas and Hit-Boy are ending things on a good note here. Don’t want to wear out a good thing.

Magic 2 not good? Damn it’s probably my favorite behind KD3. Imo it’s the best Nas flow sounded on any of the projects

after finale - he is going back to his comfort zone

    pickin medicore/horrible beats

Nas Morales beat was better than at least half of the hit boy beats he’s been rapping on the past few years so I’d rather that

Nas wasn’t the problem, it was the beats. Just felt stale tbh.

I guess I can see that, I really liked the Motion beat in particular it felt like a 90s song

Nas a legend and I like the idea of him going out with a bang if this is indeed his final album.

He should get the best producers and rappers on this. Treat this like a celebration of hiphop, sorta like the last tribe album.

KD 3 should of been that. And pretty sure it's just the last of the hitboy series

  • Sep 9, 2023

Definitely the last of the Hit Boy series.

Hope Nas doesn't go away tho! An album with Premier or Alchemist would be crazy.

If he gets Q-Tip, Just Blaze, Alchemist, Hit Boy, No ID, Premier, and David Banner? I’m willing to die happy

im kidding..... but his beat picks are not the best tbh

It’s ok fam you can stand on your original comment. His beat selection is type dumpster water. Somehow he managed to bring the worst out of hit boy also because all the kings disease were trash. Considering how fire hitboy collabs with Dom Kennedy I was underwhelmed with him and Nas.

Nas must get back in touch with Pharrell

Nah. KD3 was boring as f*** and KD1 has a lot of boring beats

Nas is more inspired through the collab than he’s been since Stillmatic honestly but Hit Boy is mostly missing on their collabs production wise. I genuinely couldn’t even hum or think of one beat he did for Nas because at best, they’re listenable background music and at worst, I’m clamoring for the skip button

Honestly kinda wild because Illmatic was a collection of the greatest producers in hip hop all making some of their best beats which are now staples in the genre

And ever since then, Nas just gets mediocre to awful production

I know people don’t like Hit Boy like that but he does have pretty good chemistry with Nas and they’ve put out some damn good albums.
