Kanye absolutely spazzed on White Label and Bonjour too. That album is a testament to why the producer matters so much more
I loved NASIR too

You’re just stanning Kanye, the beats didn’t set Nas up for success enough which is a part of producing that matters too
Hit Boy might have some generic beats but they obviously set Nas up better as far as making songs and rapping. it’s way better in totality than those messy awkward songs from Nasir. You can have a preference if you’re just going beat for beat but the difference in overall quality is undeniable

Hit Boy isn’t a bad producer he’s just not very interesting. He makes good beats but nothing that really stands out
Nas has always been the highlight of these albums for me
