Decided to put this in a new thread, as not to confuse link requests but I made a Firm volume today. there is some crossover, so half the tracks are not on any of the other tapes and the other half are.
If you'd like a link, quote this and I'll get it so you. if you want a link to the other 8 Nas tapes quote the other thread (you also need to be following me for KTT to allow messages)
Also
Just realised I forgot to remove "middle finger" from the proclamation. was deciding between that and the original "cops keep firing" and I ended up leaving both
Rushed the final checking stage to post
Remove middle finger and put all the tracks after it back one in we good
No firm fans then
i'm one of them. Firm Fiasco and Foulness 3(if it counts as Firm) are some of Nas coldest deliveries.

Sent you the link. Did you get my notification from the other thread? I asked if you had those two tracks you planned on adding in decent quality with no dj tags? That’s the reason they weren’t on the Nas tapes
@WeezyF let me know what you think about the firm tape… I added the intro to sosa vs the state and removed the DJ tags as best I could
Also added the partial intro to 5 minutes to glue so I could blend it into the remix as it just cat in incorrect

Desperados and Affirmative Action are both flames but The Firm failed for a reason

This tape has some heat tbh

the tracklist is just perfect, you also added one of the grimmest songs i've ever heard The Promise. Which reminds me to ask, are you planning some day to release something similar with Mobb Deep's unreleased catalog?

Not for a while but definitely something on the radar. That Firm album would've been a classic with some of these songs replacing the pop sounding tracks that made half the album

oh definitely, i love the mafioso production on songs like Desperados, La Familia, Firm Fiasco. Nas should've worked more with Havoc during that album, i'm pretty sure Havoc would've nailed the sound perfectly

At that point in his career he would’ve been perfect. Don’t know what happened to his production from 2000’s onwards though

They should've left the Unreleased version of La Familia on the album. Foxy set it off on that. And the pitch down was perfect

hip hop changed as a whole so that grimmy and dark sound wasn't popping back then at all. Hell On Earth era is peak Havoc production and very possibly my favorite production out of any rap album ever. Very sad that we didn't get many Nas songs with Havoc production during that era(they probably did alot but sitting on the vault somewhere)

I often wonder if havoc or RZA are able to go back to their old production style or have they lost it. 2 of my favourite producers and they lost their magic trying to go mainstream
