Young DIt’s still wild to me that Sacha Baron Cohen was able to keep up the Ali G show and Borat movie (and later Bruno and Borat 2 and Who is America) as long as he did
But what Nathan’s doing is even more remarkable in a lot of ways since he can’t hide behind a character in makeup/costume
But then again, Nathan just looks like a normal middle aged white guy, so maybe it’s easier. Especially since there’s still a lot of people that have sadly never heard of him

The insane airline pilot, the fake Canadian Idol/singing show, addressing Nathan's continued need for validation and to be liked, calling out Paramount+ and Nathan self-reflecting on the way he's calling them out, the (maybe?) sincere moment at the end...and it does this all while being a mindfuck that's never clear on what's real and what's not.
Dude is a master at what he does and I'm thankful HBO gave him a budget to cook on what's most of the time an indescribable show.

none of its sincere and its all written, but i think a part of the show's thematic concern is that it doesnt matter if its sincere or even real for it to count or work. artifice can induce catharsis
