I do sort of see your point. Neil makes great personal stories set in interesting settings, but he definitely borrowed heavily from The Road for TLOU and since 2011 there’s been a lot of high quality personal stories told through video games in that same style.

In 2024 people are a lot more hyper aware of where artists draw inspiration or even outright copy from.
