Just finished up first listen

Very decent, albeit exactly what I expected

NAV really has a knack for curating these albums, he’s cracked the formula and consistently delivers

I loved Bad Habits & Good Intentions a lot, not sure if this is necessarily better but of the same quality. The production is admittedly more interesting on this though

Some of the more r&b tracks feel a bit awkward though, Lost Me with RealestK never clicked for me, K’s voice just isn’t all the way there yet

Dead Shot is an obvious standout, NAV & Uzi’s dynamic is a cheat-code fr. I also think Never Sleep slaps wayyy harder in the context of the album. Don T also went nuts on that track, shame Future’s verse is weak

Wish there was a few more vibes like Wrong Decisions and Loaded though, as they are tapping back into that OG NAV sound that was him at his best imo. Those YSL type joints like Playa & Weirdo are an oversaturated sound for him by now, I liked that style initially on Bad Habits, but now 2/3 project’s later it is played-out for NAV

Subject matter here was also surprisingly dark even morbid, Last of the Mohicans in particular was fireeee & heavy

Bad Habits - Good Intentions - DPBA is honestly an amazing run, glad that this time round he’s getting the positive recognition he has always been owed

Although self titled is still my favorite Nav project, this one comes god damn close. They’re literally neck and neck for me.
