I think they’re finally just wanting to move on to other genres and ironically enough guys like uzi and carti are big influences on it. Also guys like juiceworld xxx and mario Judah The whole punk emo thing was cool but now instead of just the aesthetic they want the actual music

And I think pop artists starting to deviate from “pop” helps too no matter how little like billie eillish and even kpop

I think the internet culture as well of so many respected rock albums have to play a part.

I’m not going to front I did the same thing 10 years ago and branched out just so people didn’t s*** on my takes outside of Rap
