Until the gameplay stops being so clunky I’m not copping this s*** at full retail ever again

I don't have that problem, and don't see many people that play the game to it's capabilities

they made the court bigger finally

• Collision is terrible, running past your man is like running into a brick
• shooting is broken. Mistimed open layups don’t go in even when you’re under the f***ing hoop. Don’t even get me started on jump shots, the game isn’t even user-friendly like that
• defending is broken. Most times you end up doing chase downs and can’t even block because by the time you do so you’re swatting the ball after it’s gone through the hoop

Like I say, I’m not here to blindly hate - I bought 20, 21 and 22 and even paid for collectors editions. It’s the same s*** as FIFA/FC, can’t pay full retail for what is a roster update with a couple pointless features.

I know the game isn’t supposed to be arcade-tier but honestly if the gameplay was EA-smooth I would be happy

every year defense feels great for the first week or two then the youtube cheesers cry about it and the devs nerf it

I hear you but I don't often have those issues

-are you setting up your man for a drive and have someone whose handles allows you get past defenders easier. Also, when they cut off one direction the other is wide open. Don't let defenders get ahold of you, call a screen and call plays

-Shooting was really easy this year, layups could be better but with better shot selection that don't occur as much for me. Their post game always been garbage so I barely use it for bigs, unless I'm using a team where the big is the best player

-I don't have trouble timing blocks or playing defense

I don't see it as you blindly hating, just a discussion so I can understand more where players frustrations are coming from. Because I'm off the mind that the people complaining are ruining the game (outside of micro transactions and people playing that WR style in proam and rec. When I'm on PNO everybody has the same playstyle. They just rim run and one. The game has it's faults but I'm off the opinion that people just don't adapt to the features and/or don't know ball well enough to be good. 2k is much harder than it was 5 years ago

Definitely watch Czar, 2k really for SimNation now. I never get matched up with players that do this

Can't wait for the casuals to stop buying so we can get back to the buckets. They ruined it in the first place because they needed to buy skill

I uploaded some clips to show some of the stuff y'all were saying about the game. There's PNO and Rec with some clips of me practicing different shot creator shots. I'm honest when I say most people not good at the game

If anybody complain I always ask for clips because the game let me do what I want to do for the most part

paint defense needs to be fixed
its bad literally every year lol

this year wasn't that slidy but that's usually my problem with online

everything else i have no problem with lol the shooting i thought was good this year

One thing about defense is that you gotta keep hitting LT/L2 so your player stays active. If you're holding it down, the longer you do it makes your defense worse. Also, use the right stick. That s*** helps so much on contesting but sometimes you just gotta concede
