Nah, not really.
Right after we bought the house a guy on the freeway in Chicago slammed into my car during stop and go traffic and that was a ridiculous experience that took forever to rectify. Car was totaled, had to buy a new one.
The night before we moved in i threw my back out to where I could barely stand up, good thing we hired movers.
The main pipe in our condo building backed up into our unit and flooded our kitchen. This made us have to get an emergency plumber at 1130 at night and stay in an Airbnb for 3 days cuz of water mitigation.
Because of that they had to take the drywall by our washer/dryer off and it exposed an infestation of paper wasps in our unit until it was fixed.
Then the camping trip where Shirley blew up at me for flirting with her friend/her friend flirting with me(and her subsequent lying about the situation, it’s still a lil awkward).
Before the trip even began(once we got there) we got a text from a neighbor that a tree branch fell on Shirleys car and we got word recently that it’s more than likely totaled with near 9000 in damage.
All this has created a lot more arguments and stress than either of us were used to(we had none before).
Oh we were also late to our own wedding. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds!
