yeah unfortunately they do that to prevent fraud. i think you can purchase it directly in metamask with a debit but i've never done it, i think @DonJulio has though

Nah never worked for me. First few times my bank denied the transaction, more recently Wyre doesn't even authorize transactions coming from Texas at all anymore

in europe the banks use something called IDEAL and coinbase is near instant bank to fiat to crypto transfers lol
