i'll have to ask chatgpt but i'm like 99% sure they made alliance and horde cross faction for everything except PvP i think.. Don't quote me on that but I know when I was banging out mythic raids I had ppl from other servers and factions

You still have to pay to transfer but I don't know what being on the same realm provides.. Maybe it's same server only guilds but unsure. Down to level together and run some dungeons etc later
