According to jail records from the Cache County Sheriff’s Office, the 24-year-old, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was booked on several charges Tuesday evening, April 16 around 6:30 p.m.

Jail records show Youngboy was taken into custody on the following charges:

    pattern of unlawful activity
procuring or attempting to procure d***/prescription
    identity fraud
    forgery
    possession of other controlled substances
possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person

YoungBoy is awaiting trial for federal gun charges, which was paused in March pending the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling on Second Amendment rights this spring.

The rapper was indicted in March 2021 after allegedly being found with two guns during a September 2020 incident in Baton Rouge.

Sixteen people were arrested on d*** and firearm charges while filming a music video in an abandoned lot.

In July 2022, a federal jury in Los Angeles found YoungBoy not guilty of “knowingly” possessing a firearm during an arrest following a brief foot chase in California.

He has been serving house arrest in Utah, under the surveillance of a security firm staffed by military veterans. Last December, a federal judge lessened the conditions of his house arrest to allow

YoungBoy access to mental health treatments, but denied him more time in the recording studio, despite arguments that his record sales have suffered due to his lockdown

YB was always one of those people that even if he stayed clear while on house arrest it just feel like he'd f*** up soon after

  • He was likely headed back in soon anyway. He was already going to trial in July. But now he got even more charges to fight

Of course you can’t help someone who doesn’t want help but it seems like he has a lot of yes men around him. I remember he was posting himself taking X**** and started posting music videos with guns in them again. Regardless if he beats these charges or gets locked up he needs some new people around him and serious help. Praying for him.

  • Drake mention this on that one song
