The reason thug prolly never rapping with gunna is cause deep down he understands why gunna did it cause HE took a plea too. Lol

Street rap in such a goofy timeline lol
It was in Gunnas plea deal that of the state called him he would have to testify. They just never called him

say it again
we really underestimated this move from Trump
By pardoning a rapper like YB, he now has a rapper who speaks directly to an extremely large & predominantly black fanbase, he now has this nigga evangelising about him & saying whatever he says goes
I didn't pay much attention to it at the time, was there much right wing backlash for YB being pardoned? (Given his long rap sheet? or were they cool with it? Or did they just not fuss about it because they don't question their leader?)
This is silly. Black people aren’t gonna vote for Trump because he pardoned nba Youngboy. Same way Kanye being maga didn’t sway any black people.
The answer is probably that his lawyer is a friend to Trump or some kind of donor. That’s why he commuted Kodak’s sentence too

isnt this common?
it’s not possible for Youngboy to have morals and stand on them, knowing he’ll win his day in court?
like Thug’s co-defendants who are now more free than him cause they didn’t take the first deal
Made a half-joking post in the other thread on this topic that “Muhammad Ali is dead. Nina Simone is dead.”
They’ve taken away the stars we used to look up to and replaced them with this
Been meaning to finish an essay I’ve been workshopping in my mind on the topic
he wasn’t a junkie while on house arrest bruh
he has an hour long sit down interview with a therapist while on house arrest
he was well aware of his decision making process and is simply just a purposely ignorant man looking out for himself
He was a junkie on house arrest. He go a whole bunch of chargers for pretending to be a Dr to secure more d****

these niggas are not uneducated man, they are millionaires choosing to turn a blind eye to the struggles of their fellow man because their people are good and green means more than making sure all black people are good. we gotta stop excusing it as them being ignorant. they are extremely rich men who navigate upper echelon spaces around other rich men. they are choosing to act ignorant for the greater dollar
i think you're not understanding me. me saying they're uneducated is not me saying that as an excuse, anybody can get educated at any time. the fact that they have the means to do so and choose not to is damning for sure, but i don't see them as the problem, of course, they're a consequence. the fact that they have achieved such wealth and still can't/don't have the willingness to educate themselves says more about the world we live in and the material conditions which formed those niggas more than anything else.
also everything else you said doesn't disprove them being uneducated. people can remain uneducated despite their material wealth, these things are not mutually exclusive. are you telling me kodak has spent even one second of his life since getting on educating himself? no, obviously not, so he's uneducated. it doesn't make him any less of a bad person, it's just one aspect of who he is.
people will bring up Tyler or any other artist they perceive as white adjacent saying the n word 15 years ago every year but then treat Kodak and yb doing the most cooned out s*** on earth in this climate with kid gloves because they’re hood niggas is dumb af and almost like a internalized reinforcement of who society perceives as “intelligent” enough to grasp certain issues
You see it
but if you believe your innocence and have morals, you don’t take a deal from the devil
it’s real simple lol. Thugs co-defendants thought it through, trusted their team and fight, and are now free while Thug is on 15 years parole crashing out and having to do benefits concerts
Youngboy now saying this bullshit after taking the deal. stand for something or fall for everything
simple
I went to jail for a month cause I believed my innocence. walked out after 4 weeks free from any papers. this nigga was in an Utah mansion and needed a pardon???
Curious about the jail thing. How did you walk free in four weeks? I had my second court appearance around 4 weeks after my initial hearing, and that was when I got my plea offer iirc.

they offered me to sit or take a year of probation with d*** tests and community service
I decided to sit and while in there I did the work release program and got credit for time served and walked out no longer trapped to the system after 4 weeks. the plea deal will always f*** you if the deal doesn’t include your charges getting dropped to a lesser charge. probation + fees + community service + monthly d*** tests is not a win especially if once you finish, you still get the same charge on your record. I sat for the month (never even got called to go outside and work lmfaooo) and when we went to release court, my lawyer got the charges thrown out entirely from my record cause I did the jail program then told a younger me please let’s not do this ever again
never take probation, and if you do, fight for non-reporting
f*** them federales

YUP. But this is KTT’s darling. Those niggas hate tyler just cause he’s not a street nigga let’s call a spade a spade.

I was looking at 9 months in or 1.5 years of probation. I wanted to take the 9 months, but everyone persuaded me to take the 1.5 years of probation.
Probation itself is a cakewalk but I've found it hard to find success with felonies on my record. And being on probation for longer delays me getting it off my record.
It's to the point where I compare my current situation to being in jail not because it's as bad but because I'm wasting part of my youth right now in the same way someone in jail would.
In your situation tho that's a crazy deal and idk which I would have taken. Respect for choosing jail tho.

you probably woulda only sat for 3 months bro and be cleared of all papers, I’m not gonna even lie to you
but good on you for following what people were suggesting, it’s better that way some times
@lltrbased idk how long ago your case was, but after like 5-7 years you can write a letter to the court to get your records expunged depending on the charges. I’d look it up for your state. It ain’t much now but it will help when the times comes
