His lyrics are straightforward and effective about heavy subjects in a way that’s deceptively simple and he has amazing flows and melodies. There is nothing not great about what he attempts in his writing - and him not attempting what you or any other critic standard hoe deems correct doesn’t change that

when you dig into his discography you really start to figure out how melodic and catchy he is. from cadences he uses, the way he can catch a pocket on almost Any beat, he's really a straight shooter lyrically but his true talent is in making great moments in a song. it's like every verse he has a couple of phrases that just grab you and make the song worth hearing.
