YouTube streams are just as legitimate imo. Maybe even more cause there’s no cost and a much larger user base than any streaming platform
You just said free streams that anyone can easily log onto and manipulate are more legit than paid streams that are harder to fake?
The cost barrier is what makes AM and Spotify streams more legit (spotify free exists obvi but u know what i mean).
S*** i have like 15+ devices i could repeatedly stream youngboy songs on easily since it requires nothing but a link for youtube. I cant really fake Apple Music streams in that way and Spotify is obviously possible but would require a bunch of setup
Dont even get me started on youtube algorithms that can drastically affect how many streams videos can even generate due to being visible or not
