Maybe auto bids were a mistake
Clemson being the 12 seed while winning their conference only proves they are there because they made their conference not because they are a good football team
And we'll be in the same place we are now
Mid warm weather team goes to good cold weather team's house and loses. Same outcome
I agree on that, but I think you'd agree that the committee won't be doing this again
it'd be a closer game i'd imagine
Alabama couldn't move the ball against 6-6 Oklahoma
I agree on that, but I think you'd agree that the committee won't be doing this again
Oh yeah absolutely. I'm just saying that fans who expect nail biters in these games are probably going to be disappointed

Agreed
They definitely switching s*** up next year cause for this to be the first ever showcasing of a College Football playoff format this is absolutely embarrassing thus far. These teams clearly don’t belong here

If you can win your conference and still not be ranked top 12 aka Clemson you aren’t good enough to be in a playoff (if we’re going by resume and win loss which I’m told is a much better metric than watching the games)
No autobids top 12 straight up
Alabama couldn't move the ball against 6-6 Oklahoma
Alabama sucks I agree and I agree they should not have made it but Alabama fans are watching a soon to be 28-0 blowout, of course Alabama fans now have the right to be upset.

They don't have the "right to be upset" either lol

They do not have the right to be upset. They should not have lost to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma

it's not that deep, all I said was they were in shambles
It’s time for college football to adopt the soccer way of creating leagues.
Promote good teams. Demote bad teams
No more cake walk schedules
Strength of schedule over everything going forward. I don’t care how many losses niggas got

This is not the first ever showcasing of a college football playoff. There has been a college football playoff system in place for a decade now

how do you compare SOS when some teams wont even play OOC
This is not the first ever showcasing of a college football playoff. There has been a college football playoff system in place for a decade now
I don’t count that that s*** was literally 4 teams and mostly SEC. This is a legitimate playoff format
Someone really said
“Naw SMU deserves this over Bama. They got a better record they’ll be fine”
I don’t count that that s*** was literally 4 teams and mostly SEC. This is a legitimate playoff format
Well there were hilariously uncompetitive games in that format as well. Let's not forget the 65-7 national championship game

great game
The game is competitive if Jennings didn’t put up one of the worst half’s of QB play I’ve ever seen. He’s spotted PSU at least 21 points if not more
