LSU had the best OL in the sport by a wide wide margin, but their scheme prowess forced defenses like us and UGA run light boxes anyway
Tennessee isn't "forcing" UGA to run a light box due to a real threat today, they're doing it willingly and still killing these dudes
the 2019 LSU comparison fell off when looking at the lack of defensive talent on UTk, but it definitely didn't help to compare Joe Burrow to Hendon Hooker
LSU also had a bit more power to their game than UGA. LSU won a really ugly game against us where CEH was the biggest mismatch on the field. UTk is alot more finesse and great scheming than just incredible talent (although Joe Brady did his thing)
2019 OSU vs LSU would have been such a great game. I don’t think we beat them but man that would have been fun
look at nolan smith in a stequavious shirt

I'm not even really sure if it gets better than this offensive talent wise for Heupel. Will Friend was at the peak of his recruiting powers assembling this OL, this receiver corp has at least 3 NFL players (not much of a TE threat, I've noticed), and the RBs are really solid.
I don't think Josh has the recruiting pedigree for me to think he can do demonstrably better than the guys Pruitt assembled.
why are we not steppin on their necks rn

if they can actually get back to being a respectable program its gonna get a lot easier to recruit

The game of football needed that one. 2019 OSU had the skill position talent and the resume (statistically) to at least make that one feel interesting. I think LSU puts up 50 on em, but I definitely didn't see Clemson having a single shot in hell with those white ass DBs and linebackers.

What I'm saying is that the recruits they got were actually good. Pruitt's staff had good recruiters and talent wasn't the problem. I will need to see if Heupel has the ability to take a team from great offensive talent to elite.

defensively we are
and im ok wit dat
Are we gonna rush the field?
Last time you did it was against TN. Only fitting.

Tenn has played fine defensively outside of that nightmare stretch in the 1st half. I don't think their defense is particularly worn out either

It’s really the fact that Hooker has been horrendous.

That's a massive part of it that I've mentioned earlier, but you guys have been totally outclassed in terms of scheming and have had no answer for when UGA brought extra men
It'd be too dismissive to not acknowledge the amount of pressure he's faced today
