It’s all about the money. They aren’t giving that up. They’re honestly going to ruin the product for a few years. Defense will finally mean something though.

CBB is way worse with it. So many under certain minute timeouts and if a coach calls a timeout at 4:01 you get two timeouts in like five minutes.

TV timeouts in college basketball are blasphemous. There’s not even that much stoppage live.

I like the idea of you being able to run your base offense if you can execute enough to get 1sts. Def something that makes it harder on defenses, but when you look at how piss poor most teams are and how even the good ones need to look to the sidelines for 90% of plays, it makes sense
