Their resume is good enough to get in. No question in my mind.

The only question I have is will they be competitive in a playoff game... resume aside, I think I subscribe to the idea that they'll be giving whoever they play a bye. Their defense is legit, but I don't like their chances of keeping up with any of the offenses in the playoff.

So do I think they deserve to be in, yes. Do I think the "right" and "ethical" thing to do is put them in, yes. Am I optimistic about their chances in the playoff... no. Do I think putting them in gives us the best and most competitive playoff... also no.

And I absolutely agree with this as well. If I was an FSU fan I'd be absolutely livid if we were left out no matter how I felt about our chances to win the title.

It sucks that the committee has created this mentality. Teams should WANT the potential resume boost with a win and some leniency if they lose. But instead those games might as well just not happen because neither team stands to benefit in any way regardless of the outcome
