So, the born sinner thread caused me to reminisce about the early days of my fandom (I don’t really care for cole that much anymore, but I will always support him just due to the fact that his music helped me get through high school when I was younger). I remember dude was putting out crack those first couple of years… until this come out

Now, dude was bound to put something trash out eventually (every artist puts out bad music), but it was pretty wild just how much the quality of his music dropped after he gave us that song. He went from putting classic tape/song after another to being a more hit or miss type of artist. I realized this even then back in the thick of my fandom. It was really bizarre to have witnessed tbh. never seen anything like it to this day. It was like ummm this is probably not the best comparison because Cole is infinitely more successful and talented as an artist than Adrien Broner is as a fighter, but it was like when Broner took his first loss as a fighter and then was never the same after it. Idk it was weird af aight peace
