Drake is overrated as a rapper

When it comes to the technical aspect he’s decent at best. He knows how to ride the beat and express himself, outside of that he’s never really blown me away. His flows aren’t out of this world and his wordplay isn’t anything to go crazy over

I say they’re about even tbh. I enjoy Meeks delivery more and that’s about it. He has some legendary radio freestyles and I love those old vids of him rapping when he was younger. Overall he’s above average at best as well imo

I think they’re pretty close to even, both have strong and weak points, neither is top tier but both pretty good. Drake is probably a better technical lyricist but Meek’s energy can hit crazy on the right tracks and his flows and rhyme schemes are generally more complex

Imma say bar for bar Meek and Drake are probably around the same level. In terms of lyrics, flow, cadence, delivery, writing, and overall pure rap skill, Drake is definitely better.

Drake is a better writer (maybe not fair bc we dont know if anyone else besides Quentin has helped him) in terms of structuring rhymes and flowing, but Meeks subject matter has more substance and depth to it if we compare their deepest songs.

Show me a drake freestyle as good as any meek freestyle
