so i got pulled over a day after my birthday for speeding 🙄 i got my cousin who a lawyer to handle it, but this what she just texted me

idk what to do that probation for a year seems f***ing ridiculous but idek exactly what it means

if you’ve been in either situation or gotta hella tickets, lmk pls!

for reference, i shouldn’t have any points on my license yet since all my tickets have been amended this far

maybe it’s different for speeding but I got a ticket and just had to do defensive driving school online it was 4 hrs but easy as s***. They get you on the court fees tho

It’s much better to do the school so the points stay off your record

Also, take the class and pay the fine

  • Jan 31, 2020

Wtf kinda terms is that lol

I got a speeding ticket and all I had to do to get it reduced is agree to the prosecutor deal of a driving class and a fine.

    No ticket probation lmao wtf

The judge was just telling people what to plead To get it reduced at my court date too

I’ve had two speeding tickets both reduced just by showing up and asking for a supporting deposition

Might depend on the state though

From what I was told, local counties would rather reduce your ticket to a parking ticket because they get paid for it. If you get hit with a speeding ticket the state gets paid

Probation for a year is a s***ty deal If you take risks/ bad driving.

You could also be unlucky and get in the wrong situation.

Probationary period would be better if you can control your driving

Edit: i had a 3 month driving probation period before but a year is crazy. This can't be your first time around
