Welp i mean workout. Start a 30 minute routine you can do every day. I'd do like 15 minutes of running/ jumping jacks and then pushups situps crunches lunges squats calf raises.

    In like 25 - 50 reps.

Find a hobby as well. Maybe writing or reading or drawing / music.

Seems like your asking the right questions but you gotta decide what v you want to do for yourself.

You can have all that. Just got to start taking actionable steps. You can start right now. Start by drinking water only, run a mile a day, watch what you eat. Less processed sugars, more fruits. Those are things I implemented when I was unhappy with my health. Have discipline and consistency and it all adds up. That can go with anything in life. Hit the gym when this pandemic is over.

Manage your money well. Save and be frugal and chip off that debt. Again that takes discipline. Think of creative ways to make more money. Create a product or service. Monetize off your skill, knowledge and value you provide.

Yeah, going to try to work out, but it's hard not being able to go to the gym rn. I bought a yoga mat though

Picked the BEST time to start.

Most people are on lockdown, great time to self improve.

Ironic you would make a compliment thread trying to bring about positivity.

Then s*** on OP for wanting better for himself.

I’m not s***ting on op just saying it’s a bad time for this because it’s hard rn

He wants to get in shape but gyms are closed obviously he can work out at home but not the same

He wants to find something he loves to do but we’re limited rn to being indoors

And finally it’s really hard to meet new ppl rn unless you do it online

Okay sorry, maybe i read too much into it.

But id have offered alrernative rather than saying its a bad time.

Home workouts are harder to get results from. But if he’s doing nothing its a good way to start.

Social circles are hard to build right now too.
But op can work on self confidence to make those interactions eaiser for when this ends.

Also cause people in a down low spot might get worse in isolation.

Great time to stop circling around in negative habits, & push towards bettering yourself

True that’d be a good start. Just a tough time for everyone now even finding a job is hard unless you’re willing to do retail but then you’re exposed to catching something

I’m from Illinois and we’re complete lockdown s***s scary

    Very true,

Im in canada right now & was working retail till the lockdown.

Id finished school in dec but hadnt really done s*** to improve myself since then.

But since covid mania hit. I sobered up, started rebuffing my python & data science skills, and have actually been eating enough.

I had those goals already in place in my mind, but took till i had a day or two of lockdown to make me look further into my future with optimism & actually do something about it.

Also, i just found out yesterday that my retail job was actually going to pay me, & ive been a stressed out freak since before that.

So soz if some of that spilled onto u.

Just think its time for encouragement 🖤🖤

    My advice tho,

Get a pen and paper, put your big time goals onto them, no matter how unrealistic.

Then go down, and make the steps you need to get to there.

Try and do this in layers. Each time getting more realistic.

By the bottom of the page you should have narrowed it down to what you can start with today.

Might be ages before you can move up that ladder.

But id way rather have an unrealistic goal and always fall short, than have easy ones i can always accomplish.

That’s dope that you’re being productive during all this. I luckily still have a job but the longer this continues the more people that will be laid off. Told us “no promises” that they won’t start cutting ppl
