Comedy to many of us isnt comparison . Example I think his pimp allegory was much more laid out and connected than this special . But all of his jokes from this special do connect to a larger point and theme . It’s clear he grieving .

I’ve always approached comedy the same way I do all art. I’m less interested in the implications of my interpretation of WHAT is being said but more so HOW it’s being said. Whether I agree or disagree I still think Chappelle is a master of his craft.
