It's crazy that signing the deal with Def Jam is supposed to be this triumphant moment of Kanye finally achieving his dream but it's almost entirely undercut by a sense of foreboding knowing what we know now about those deals

there needs to be more technical footage, this feels super narrative/personal, but we need that work/thought process to fully capture what kanye actually specializes in

this captures his belief in himself very well, but it doesnt capture what separates him from a technical perspective from his contemporaries from a musical & visual lens
