Who has footage of donda tucking in 5 year old kanye west into bed
Change ur avy back bro
Netflix?
His story needs to be told in theaters and HBO Max
"HBO Max" b u cant be serious
The Fader and New York Post are referring to this as a docuseries not documentary we should all be fine that reddit s*** is bogus .. just google docuseries and kanye and there’s articles from hours ago saying docuseries
12 episodes, last one is DONDA and current life ( Gap, Yeezy, West Ranch, tanks, etc.), drop DONDA, retire. It’s only right
Stop
if this series allows people to appreciate kanye as the eccentric talented ambitious guy he is
anyone else feel like they got lowballed? A Kanye doc should be worth more than 30 mil

its a lot for not having the artist attached for promo
huge artists getting less than this and they have to go do press runs on top

Nah that's about even with the The Last Dance which was at the ballpark of 30 million.
Michael way more beloved and respected figure then Kanye whose more controversial and up and down in terms of public opinion.

Ye didn't get paid 30 million, the two dudes with the footage got paid 30 million.
Which for them is probably a f*** ton of money.
To us though, this footage would be priceless.
$30M is A LOT for any type of documentary or docuseries.
Also adding that Netflix docuseries usually gain a lot of attention. Them buying this is a very good deal and offer. There's some overestimation on how much money docs actually make..its not a big money business even with big names
Like this was casual filming for them for the most part. That's an insane return for the work they did
Ok so is it even close though....that MBDTF footage is going to be unmatched!! I think the other era that I'm really looking forward to is the 808's and Heartbreaks era, so legendary
Netflix been trash, HBO Max the new wave
Came in to say this. the fact that its netflix has me scared. Netflix docs feel watered down and have this weird "TV" vibe to them - its hard to describe.

HBO Max is my favorite service and i've held this claim since before Day 1 when s*** wasn't close to what it is now but if yall actually want a lot of people to see this Netflix is the route. HBO Max's major weakness is getting people to watch their Original content. They also aren't even world wide yet so a lot of people couldn't watch it easily
Netflix is a hub for a lot of people who are into random docs and is an actual worldwide platform with millions of eyes on it.
its not a Netflix production its a Netflix purchase. They're not actually involved with the making of the doc so your worry isn't really a thing here.
