Everyone in the car telling ye to stop listening to tucker Carlson is cringe they make it out to be like heâs the devil or something. Also itâs like they donât want ye to hear him and form his own opinion about him on this single topic. They fear ye is gonna want to work with or show him support.
If I was ye id hate them niggas like damn can I listen to something without yall breathing down my neck
I want that s*** in Blu Ray UHD with a dope ass cover
just to got it on infinite time
need criterion on this stat
So yall heard Kanye say "first documentary" right?
Yeah thereâs still plenty left like the nico footage around 16
Lol thatâs what I thought it was but wasnât sure
Watched it got the first time last year
Omg, so did I! Wasnât it an incredible film! Dude I couldnât believe it captured my attention for not only 3 hours, but the fact it was still so good after 60+ years is AMAZING. Wonderful film!!!
But he wasnât around Kanye during that time
I know that but he said âlike everyone else, he was from the outside looking inâ
He couldâve done some research during that time & shown some positive things Kanye had done during that time.
just a thought
I was fighting for my life not to cry but the hey mama high quality footage broke me tbh
The editing of this doc is superb
Coodie has a great vision
Coodie knows kanye better than some fan ass nigga and you tell him hes wrong for that
Lmao you stans are something else
Never said I knew him better.
Documentaryâs are meant to be as objective as possible. First 2 episodes were perfect examples of that. Episode 3 had a definite subjective angle on Kanyeâs mental health and playing into that weird media narrative that all know to well.

What weird media narrative
Theres literally footage in the documentary that we BOTH watched of kanye having a breakdown on camera lol
Coodie is even respectful enough to turn the camera off sometimes
SEVEN SAMURAI PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND AT WYOMINF RANCH
DAMN
p sure that was throne of blood
Never said I knew him better.

Exactly, there were a handful of scenes that just made him look bad without any context being offered
Ye would never have approved of the second half of ep 3
Never said I knew him better.

that is NOT true that documentaries are supposed to be as objective as possible. idk where you heard that but no filmmaker in the world is going to agree with you on that statement
All those segments where Coodie would stop recording ye cause he felt uncomfortable
Itâs obvious we supposed to look at ye like something is wrong with him mentally
But Iâll be honest I understood everything he was saying itâs just the way he was saying it was unhinged and doing too much ie yelling and constantly comparing himself to other geniuses

Lmao right. Especially not about kanye f***ing west. The first two episodes werent objective but because kanye looked good in them its different
Like itâs painfully obvious that Coodie is virtue signaling when he shows Ye having a breakdown and then tells us that heâs turning the camera off, if the situation wasnât appropriate to record why did you put it in the doc
When they sent that man to the hospital after his mental breakdown he saw some s*** and decided to dedicate his life to changing the world
That nigga ye know something we donât

yea the man who's known Kanye for 25 years is really worried about virtue signaling he's def not legitimately concerned about the mental health of his brother
edit: f*** I said I was done replying to yall. last time
Editing and pacing got a bit more sloppy as the 2nd episode went on. Like it was all College Dropout then last 20 mins let's zoom into Late registration and fast forward to Donda

Its just disrespectful as f***
Cudi seems like he can easily be annoyed by the way Kanye does stuff and it almost looks like Kanye looks up to cudi during the KSG sessions. He was like a little kid.
Theyâre such a great duo tho itâs sad they are having issues right now. It was great seeing them create together and just hang out.

In that moment it is, but in hindsight you know damn well they were using him as a token character lol

facts like I'm a Stan too but some people need to take a step back and gain some perspective

Documentaries are a paradox. And this debate will be a moo point regardless. You have to be as objective as absolutely possible to not show biases but obviously subjectivity will play itâs role. Itâs just weird that the first 2 episodes were objective and just showing it was and then episode 3 turned into what felt like a smear campaign. Clearly much more subjective editing and writing.

Isnt it obvious he was very limited in the footage after?

my guy it's literally impossible for a documentary to be completely objective. by nature of a human being putting something together it will be subjective to some degree. it doesn't have to be intentional, but bias is present in every documentary you see, no matter the topic
