If you watched part 3 and couldn't take away he really got yes men around him then idk
Who was really checking him before all that other than Donda and Dug through a track and that meeting? What Iām saying is Rhymefest and them all yes men to me, nigga was saying Kanye mumble raps in Uganda were fire. Kanye always did what he want to do. The only time Kanye didnāt be Kanye was when he was lowkey about to rant about Rocafella until Dame walked in on the album party.
Act 1 & 2 were like CD-MBDTF quality wise.
Act 3 was as unorthodox and all over the place as Kanyeās career, music, albums, antics, etc has been for the past 5-10 years. It literally all makes sense now.
If you watched part 3 and couldn't take away he really got yes men around him then idk
S*** was lowkey sad to see.
Lowkey yes man and enablers.
Coodie couldnāt even continue recording sometimes cuz s*** got so bad.
We really missed out on Graduation - MBDTF footage cuz Ye told Coodie to stop recording in 2007.
Smh. Those were the Golden years, outside of CD & LR era.
thinking about it some more, the lack of footage from 07-2016 ? might have the dates messed up, definitely stinks and hurts the overall "story" so to speak, but I think Coodie did the best he could filling in the pieces.
We aināt get no footage of Grad-WTT era but got Ye, JIK instead
the worst trade off
Part 3 was the weakest imo, lots of rambling and circling around the same things over and over, though there were some good moments still.
Tbh if it ended with Act 2, this would have been the greatest s*** ever.
Once it got to Dondaās death (which made tear up a lil bit) everything in the doc just went downhill (ironically same with Kanyeās life).
The TLOP footage was kinda cool to watch.
But overall Act 3 was just 2nd hand frustration/confusion and Coodie trying to adapt to Modern Ye.
Footage of Wyoming felt very weird to me
Lowkey makes sense why Yeās music has been so hit or miss in the past 5 or 7 years.
Act 3 vividly shows how heās not really in the right mind state to make another album like MBDTF ever againā¦too many distractions, too many yes men & enablers, too many other business ventures, family issues, mental health, etc.
and please donāt mention Donda, yes we know that is a good album lol but weāve heard the albums before and a rushed Donda 2 that he pushed so ppl could cop a stem player.
He just lacks the focus and hunger we witnessed in Act 1 & 2
but rightfully so, I mean what else does he really have to prove anymore as a rapper???
So yeah itās sucks but I get it.
Canāt wait for ye to sell this documentary to Amazon in 2040
Now THIS is an era footage I would pay to see.
F*** a JIK era, Ye era, Presidential Run era, or MAGA era
3>2>1
10/10 doc
Very rarely do we get a behind the scenes look into people of Yeās calibre.
Woat ranking lol
2 > 1 >>>>>>>>>> 3
I just gotta say that that ranch did not look fun to be at lmao. Would rather be cramped up in a studio.
Rick Ruban was so reluctant to pull up

This s*** lmao
Almost as bad as
IāM IN THAT
RED ROLLS WHITE CEILING
Lol well tbh we donāt have the footage to when they first met so that couldāve been true and they def edited some in studio parts but Jaime did make it seem like he wasnāt as enthusiastic to sing the s*** compared to the video. But aye itās a good story
also, I feel as if there should have been more detail on Ye's crew coming up. Like I know IBN and Don C were around but were they his day ones? did kanye have day ones? because Coodie liked including himself into that OG Chicago group, but end of the day he aint meet ye until he was like 17. by the time you're 17, your day ones are carved out, you aint really adding to that list. And so I feel like it was slightly disingenuous on Coodie's part to include himself in on that day one OG Chi-Town group he mentioned time from time, because end of the day, his role in Kanye's life was always somewhat detached of being a friend, he was a videographer. obvi he spent a lot of time with Ye and certainly is closer to him than most are, but idk. i just think that part is lacking, a close look into Ye's true friends.
Lastly, IBN and Don C no offense seemed like pompous a******s anytime they were on screen, or standoffish at the least
I was def hoping to see more videos of GLC

all i gotta say is f*** all the parts where coodie tried to make it about himself, like damn nigga we could be learning so much more bout dude we don't care bout you fam lmao.
As much as i felt like a d*** about it i was like bro no offense but i do not give a f*** about your daughter

Act 3 was too negatively biased bro, coodie didnt show s*** about Kanye's success in the 2010s. All he did was show bad s***, what the f***
