    The fact that they only paid 30 mil tells me a.) the people who sold it are dumb OR b.) the videos in it are mid.

    30 mil for a Kanye West documentary is nothing. Producers spend more on that for Amy Schumer movies

    Netflix would pay Kanye $100+ mill, I don’t think they would pay more than that for 2 independent camera guys.

    If it's not this, one day there better be an all inclusive, the last dance level documentary about ye including the footage that one assistant recorded of him, with everything good and bad. Unfortunately they probably won't until he's gone but man I'd kill for a classic level biopic or documentary. Not some youtube type s***

    This not a Ye project that has to get ready tho and have his standard delays. I think its a film they potentially have completed that they sold to Netflix for distribution.

    If articles are saying later this year i feel like that's about right. Like they're not being paid to produce it, Netflix purchased the actual film rights. It could very well be ready to go or close and they've just decided to drop later this year.

    even more so since Ye was walking around knowing they were filming for something like this one day. Literally says "they're making a documentary." That's why he not involved lol its their film they been doing this for 20 years

    really wonder what other stuff they had or if they sought out outside footage
