Seriously how bad was that. CGI deepfake faces were laughable and watching everyone struggle to not have a stroke was comical.
So glad i torrented it to make sure Netflix made no money from my viewing
After all the s*** Scorsese talked about Netflix movies being s*** then he makes a s*** Netflix movie u can't make this up.
Radical casting idea, instead of deepfaking 80 year olds faces to play 40 year olds why not just cast younger actors?

Because that s*** is always corny as f***. You don’t turn into a different face when you age from 40 to 80, that’s not how aging works
Nah but the whole move was in the past tense so why not cast younger actors then make them look older instead of trying to take literally 50 years off your lead roles @maxxing it was basically a 3 hour commercial for deepfake tech
the cg is jarring for like one minute and u get used to it.
couldn't be me letting that s*** get in the way of me enjoying a phenomenal movie
Bout to watch it today, tho that's some cringey thread
talking trash bout one of the best directors of all time, plus talking s*** bout 2 of the best actors of all time - couldn't be me
Took me a good 15-20 seconds to figure out what OP was talking about
I can recommend some books to help your reading comprehension

De Niro mad a movie called "the intern" to highlight how old he was 5 years ago, which was 100% boomer propaganda.
At this point the only roles he should be taking are ones where he has dimentia and is deteriorating in an assisted living home for an AMC special.
