    I get that ppl have goldfish attention spans but its not serious enough to treat the audience like idiots lol

    That’s actually not the case, they’ve done studies showcasing that the audience is smarter than people think and being spoon fed isn’t needed at all.

    If Netflix is already producing bad movies to begin with then that leads to a lack of paying attention. So rather than Netflix simply improving their quality of films their solution instead is to be even lazier and say “well let’s spoon feed those who aren’t even paying attention just as long as they press play”
