idk maybe its recency bias but this season way more enjoyable to watch than s1

broooo Beck was the problem for you in s1??? she was annoying but kinda cute and s1 was before we knew what Joe was capable of so damn near all the escalated drama was just surprise after surprise compared to the next two seasons. all opinions tho, to each their own

i will say tho that after the episode where Love and Joe are f***ing and thinking about other people, the season did get a bit better

lowkey you right getting introduced to joe's obsessive behaviors was a trip, when beck figured it out that was a crazy moment. i gotta watch s1 again fs

Season 1 and Season 3 are my favorites. Season 2 was great (this is an awesome, and awesomely consistent, show), but I remember being so fed up with Joe going so far out of his way to cause problems for himself that season. I was straight on that s***.

I’m still on 7 but when he made that smart ass comment about Joe mowing the lawn that was when I was fine if Joe killed him

One thing I don’t like about this show is how Joe’s internal monologues outweigh his personality with anyone else

When he’s alone he’s hilarious but with other ppl he’s very bland to me but I guess that’s the point

I think this was my favorite season. It felt refreshing that it wasn’t just about Joe stalking a girl. There was a new dynamic with him being married to Love and her being crazy too. I also think the setting was really good.

I agree, it was a nice change of pace.
And yea putting this season in the suburbs was a great choice, really pushes the theme that you never really know who your neighbors and friends are

Yeah you get Joe's full perspective. If he was as energetic on the outside he'd probably stand out too much. Plus he's a psycho so it takes alot for him to show emotion

But let's be honest, we're all at our best in our head.

I can rewatch season 1 and 2 like it's nothing both really great.

This one lags a bit. The beginning and ending are great, the middle is so-so.

Season 1 still My favorite. 10

Season 2 comes close but is just a tad bit worse. 9

Season 3 is is like an 8 or a 7. Not the best but not bad.

I think Season 4 can be a return to form and be up there with first two seasons no problem.

The writers No longer have all these walls and s*** they have to write around. They can build a new world full of new situations.

Unless...

They keep having this man chase marienne. Hope they don't and someone else catches his eye. She wasn't developed enough for it to work well now.
We need it to be like the first two where you develop them fully throughout the season. And now Joe doesn't have to triple balance everything. He can focus on the woman and work. Ig people don't like that reversion to the mean there but personally, I enjoy it when the show is doing that formula. It's really in its element. And the hijinks Joe gets into is always entertaining. Plus they can at least make the murders a little more believable and realistic now. In season 3 Love was taking down the whole f***ing neighborhood recklessly. Its like, come on. S*** came incredibly close to jumping the shark this season. Looking forward to season 4 very much. Unless they continue that rushed marienne bullshit

They can develope her character trough S4. The actress kinda teased that if she's in S4 the character will be torn between loving him and not trusting him seeking the truth about who he actually is and what happened at the end of S3.
She also teased the character could be the one that help stopping Joe once and for all.

We'll see what they do.They have a year or more to build the character and give it more layers
